Security Operation Center (SOC) Analyst

  • Monitor network traffic for signs of anomalous or suspicious activity using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools (Splunk, Palo Alto, PFSense) and investigate such activity to distinguish between false positives and genuine threats.

  • Analyze and interpret security logs and data from various systems, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, and antivirus systems to identify potential security incidents.

  • Coordinate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) team to assess and prioritize identified security incidents and formulate appropriate response strategies.

  • Participate in the incident response process by providing first-line investigation and remediation, ensuring that all incidents are recorded and tracked in accordance with SOC procedures.

AZN SYSTEMS

AZN Systems, based in Parkville, Maryland, provides a comprehensive range of structured cabling and telecommunications infrastructure services. Specializing in areas such as network data communications, optical fiber, and copper cabling, they offer services in splicing, terminations, cable management, and equipment room fittings. AZN also supports various communication types, including voice, data, T1, DSL, and coaxial services. Their expertise extends into managing complex cabling systems for both backbone and horizontal networks across commercial projects. AZN’s work aligns with the standards outlined by the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), and their projects cover a wide spectrum of structured cabling needs, from initial design to installation and repair work.

K3 Telecom operates in various global markets, with a strong focus on regions in Africa. Their “Triple Play” service bundle offers high-speed internet, telephony, and television (including streaming services) and aims to make broadband accessible even in underserved areas by connecting users up to 50 kilometers from a base station, as long as there’s line-of-sight availability.
